I took it and it was great, it took about 55 min door to door from huntington, it runs ever 5 minutes from jamica, i forgot what it cost but it was cheap. its very clean and easy takes u right to your terminal, they have people on the platforms and trains to tell you were to get off. i highly rec. it, this is what I take any time I have to go to JFK. any other questions FM me

i agree..this is a great service
depending on how big your suitcases are, you may want to avoid rush hour commuter traffic. we took handbags the last time we used air tram and very easy

I have. It's great!! Very clean, easy to understand and cheap. I will NEVER take a cab to the airport again.

I'd say it's about 10 minutes from Jamacia, they run about every 5 minutes and no problem with the luggage.

LOVE Airtrain!!!

Its about 10 minutes from Jamaica, they run every 3-4 mintues, it's 5 bucks, no problem with luggage at all. It's kind of like the tram at the Tampa or Orlando airport. Not like a subway. Very cool!

ETA: They are also still doing some renovations, or additions, on the upper level, so it will look really nice soon.

AND, super bonus: the bathrooms are VERY CLEAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took the airtrain to JFK a few weeks ago and it was great! No hassles, its pretty cheap, and the trains run very frequently. I was door-to-plane in 45 minutes from Penn Station, I dont know how long it takes from LI though, I couldnt imagine it bieng that much longer, unless you are coming from eastern suffolk
