I'd say the massage or bake him something. That way you can give it to him regardless & it is sweet, thoughtful, but not overdone.

If you don't give him the massage, you can always use it.

Or gift certificate to Starbucks or Tower Records.

Since he is a coffee lover you may want to buy him some nice gourmet coffee. You could also bake some cookies and make a basket out of it.

Does he have any hobbies?

Generic Ideas:
Sweater
DVDs
CDs

Hi Hun!

OK not that you need my opinions, since I've already given you my 2 cents waaaay too many times But I really loooove the idea for a Starbucks GC . Starbucks gets pretty pricey after awhile, and if he's into his coffee its a great idea

Along with that, I would give the cookies. I still love the cookie idea also, I don't think its childish at all. Seriously I've never known anyone who doesn't really appreciate the time and effort that goes into baking homemade treats

And lastly the sweater idea is good too!

OK, that's all my bad advice for one day

Re: ok pple im still stressing..

i think that the gc for a massage is a good idea because if you dont wind up seeing him for the holidays you can use it yourself lol. if you do see him you can always by another one and go together i think thats a sweet and romantic thing for a 'couple' to do together. the starbucks card is also a cool idea you can put it in a starbucks coffe mug or something to dress it up a bit. you can also buy a new movie that just was released on dvd maybe scarey or action and put it in a basket with popcorn and candy and a maybe a bottle of wine im sure it will turn into a nice romantic evening. i think its so funny that you are getting a backup gift lol because i did that a few times as well lol.

Re: ok pple im still stressing..

Wow...i guess i think differently...

I don't know your situation so i can only sumise that it is a casual dating thing..since yo don't know if you are going ot be seeing each other or that if you are exchanging gifts...

Which IMO..the message, watch and sports tixs are a little much to be spending on someone you are casually dating...

tie...i agree with you a little too impersonal

gc...not a bad idea but get it somewhere you like too! (just in case you decide not to give it to him)

Dinner thing...eh, doesn't seem like something you would give for x-mas it is more like a Valentines gift

Cuff Links..I actually like. Especially if he dresses up often. They have some really cute ones out there now and if he doesn't get you a gift or you don't see each other...they are easily returnable!
The DVD ting is a good idea too!

I think the guy will fall inlove with you if you buy him sports tix.

I vote for that, the massage (since he mentioned it), or Starbucks GC with homemade cookies.

YOu have lots of good ideas. Don't think you cna go wrong (just don't spend TOO much 'cause it may scream boyfriend...)
