Re: anyone have an adult heart mumur?

Sorry to hear about your recent discovery, but it's possible they are wrong. I was told that I had a slight heart murmur, and I thought it was so weird that it was never picked up before -- I got 2 other opinions and both said that the first Dr must have been crazy - there was nothing wrong with me!!! Go for the test, it may prove the MD wrong.

my doc said i had a slight heart murmur, then i went for all the tests, and nothing was wrong with my heart. no explanation given. Could be a fluke.

Mine was found when I was around 26. I had to wear a monitor for 24 hours and that was it. Mine is not the serious kind. The only ramifications I have from it is that I have to take 2000mg of anitbiotics 1 hour prior to going to the dentist. Try not to stress yourself too much Jen. You take great care of yourself and that is most important!

Same thing for me as well, I don't think it is a big issue as what people make it sound, my family has it and everyone is in good health. It is hereditary. Just take care of yourself Jenny.
