Oh Jenny i have this problem too! And it started all of a sudden ... after college and after i quit smoking!
I went to an ENT guy who did a test on them and said they are not that bad and to avoid talking loudly. Hard to do when you go to a loud bar, but since i am older and i rarely do that anymore my problem has gone away. I have real issues when i go away for a weekend. One bachelorette party weekend out east and i had to go home the day after the first night because i had no voice left. It sucks, but mine always came back within a day or two.
Also, speech therapists can help you with exercises. They helped me a lot...but i don't go to them anymore.
You have to check them out too...because they can become more serious later in age.
