Well, how much over 50 are they? Maybe you could pay the difference if you really want them.. Personally, I don't like asking people to spend a lot of money on those kinds of things. Everyone has different financial situations.

I'm buying my flowergirl dress from netbride.com. It's not $50, but compaired to the salon prices I'm saving a bundle! I'm paying for my niece's flowergirl dress, because I know my SIL cannot afford it, but we worked out a 'deal' that they would pay for her shoes, tights and my nephew's tux. Check out the prices on netbride and sit down with her and have a discussion on how it can work out best for all. Good luck.
