I know this probably won't be much of a comfort, but I think all of the shops play around with the ordering and fitting dates. I am not sure any of them do exactly what you ask - they try to fit what you want with what they want, it's annoying.

You will have time even if it comes in May, because you may only need to go a few times. Try not to get too stressed out about it.

Call them up and insist on them rushing it because that's what you were told and that's the ONLY reason why you ordered such an expensive dress from them and not the cheaper people. That's BS and you shouldn't have to take that. Give them he ll and keep calling and b!tching them out.... it worked for me


I had the same issue with my mom's dress... When I ordered it in the beginning of March, I was told that it would ship April 18 and be in by the end of April... so I called this past Tuesday to get an update and I was told it would ship May 2.... I said, no it won't I was told Blah blah.... and told them it has to be in by the end of April and I paid for it to be in at the end of April.

Well, after multiple phone calls - a few of them with me screaming at them - it turns out someone didn't place the order as a rush and it's 'going to ship today'. Ok, On Monday , I will call again for another update and we'll see if my blood pressure goes thru the roof again

This must be so stressful considering you have tons of other wedding related things to worry about!

Why would you stress yourself out by demanding or yelling at them when it just makes you crazy and stressed out? You have time, relax, the dress will come, you will figure out your schedule and you will look beautiful!

i'm waiting for a call back (after they call the manufacturer from over seas.) i'll let u know what happens.
