If you're an American History buff, Fort Ticonderoga is a great place to visit.

We go every summer.
You can do
parasailing
rent a boat on the lake
jet skiing
horse back riding
white water rafting
Tubby Tubing (highly recommend)
you float down a lazy river of the Hudson in a Tube....very cool.
relax by the pool

You are very welcome, you are going to have a fantastic time.

There are lots of things to do on the lake, like someone mentioned. The white water rafting, was so much fun!

I love Saratoga.

Whitewater rafting is awesome. We did it from a place down in Lake Luzerne, south of Lake George. Luzerne is a cute little town in itself- I love Lake George but it is crazy during the summer. If you find that you want something more laid back a day in Luzerne might be fun. There is (or there used to be) an old-fashioned ice cream parlor called Papa's. It overlooks some of the Hudson River Rapids.

ETA: Great Escape is a lot of fun too.

Jetskiing is great there - - - it's not salt water so it's reeeeaaaalllly refreshing!

If you go in early September, there's a huge motorcycle show there. It's really fun - even if you're not the motorcycle-type!

Saratoga is awesome! Beautiful
In Lake George we also went to Great Escapes ( I believe that was the name of it). Its an amusement park.
Theres also a drive in movie theater.
Want some good shakes? Go to A&W's
We did the cruise on the Lake (Mini Haha)..that was very nice.
You are going to have a GREAT time!
