I don't know too much about the etiquette but would say go with what you feel comfortable doing...we're having our godparents do the readings

i am thinking of doing the same thing,
here is my idea
Do one reading in english and one in spanish- have them both translated in the program (i feel if we do both readings in both languages it will take a loooong time, )
we will probably have FH's brother's girlfriend- maybe fiance by that time... she is not spanish- but is fluent... if not, then maybe one of his uncles
i dont know if there is etiquette on this, i think it is basically how comfortable you feel with the plan
we are hoping to have a spanish priest come to the church too, but FH is taking his sweet time with this one.
