I would be pissed too. Like you said, I believe she should have came to yours, while he went to his cousins. Maybe she would feel weird coming without a date? And they rationalized it by well, it is his family, and you're only a friend? Anyway you look at it, it stinks.

I would definitely be pissed. She's only ditching you to make her new boyfriend happy by doing what 'he' wants. That's not fair to you. Unfortunately, times like this (weddings or special gatherings) you really get to see people's true colors when it comes to their feelings for you. I'm having similar situations with our wedding, and it's pretty sad how you think you know someone, when you really don't. We had to invite certain people to our wedding because we 'had' to and because we are having a small wedding, we had to slight a few people that we wanted to invite. Now those people (family members) might not come and it's too late for us to invite other people now.
So take it for where it's coming from. Sorry to say, but she obviously doesn't respect your friendship and you should just move on. I wouldn't even talk to her anymore. I would just let it go, but that's just me. Good Luck

She obviusly has different priorities in her life right now and since youre not #1 in her book, dont make her #1 in yours. Let it go!! Youre getting married

You're not wrong to be pissed, people can be really self centered.

Aw I'm sorry. I would be upset too. Like someone above said, a wedding can really make people's true colors come out.

I don't know, I can see your friend's side of it. She has been with her boyfriend for 6 months...has she told you if they're very serious or not? I was living with FH before the 6 month mark, and if someone in his family was getting married the same day as a friend that I barely spoke with anymore I would go with him to his cousin's wedding also. I wouldn't go to a wedding without FH. On the other hand, if I were in her position and was still very close with you, we would both be going to your wedding. Don't get me wrong, there is absolutely no excuse in the world for her to not RSVP (nothing short of rude), but I think not going is not a major issue.

Regardless of which wedding they decided to attend, you still deserved the courtesy of a timely response. She knew for a long time what your wedding date was and the cousin's wedding date was not known - If I were her, I would have attended yours.
