I don't know how 'original' i am or annyone i know for that matter but I do get friends copying things i buy. Never bothered me, found it flattering UNTIL:

My close friend has the EXACT same bathroom decor as me ....EXACTLY.

WHat bothered me is that she didn't even tell me she was going to do it. I stopped over unexpectedly and saw it for myself...that was kinda annoying

I think it is nearly impossible to be truly orginal.

I am original in the words I make up, but most of them don't leave the confines of my home.

I can be a stubborn brat & will sometimes purposely not buy/do/wear soemthing, just b/ too many other peopel do.

For example, I don't own 'a little black dress' b/c I think it is boring & common, but I' dont' make my own clothes or alter my clothes or anything.

I also don't like to read books that I see other people on the train reading, for the sole reason that other people on the train are reading them.

i get ideas from different places and differnt sources and bunch them together and then thats me.

however the combination i guess can be original

I try to be. I try to have my own style and do original things, but at the same time I don't want to go overboard (I think FH thinks I'm a little TOO 'original' already - HAH)

I have moments of bridal planning where I think I have come up with an original idea - and then I do a liweddings search and see that a ton of other brides already did it!

I think sometimes my mind works in a unique way.....I get stares from people after I say things sometimes.
So I guess in that way, I'm original

Although, I saw one of my students with really cute shoes the other day and I plan on ruthlessly copying her and buying them

Nope- not really- except how I see some things- it works great in counseling meetings when I point out how someone is looking at a situation in a new way. But I don't really see how that is orginal, just another point of view.

I have been told that I am really funny though- unfortunately, usually not when I am trying

I have moments, I think, but they are rare. I also think that it's very difficult to be truly original. I know there are plenty of people out there who think they are but chances are whatever it is you are doing, saying, wearing, or thinking - someone else somewhere has done it first.

I guess it depends on in what sense...I don't think I'm very original in clothing, accessories, fashion, etc.

But I tend to have creative ideas artistically and professionally speaking...

I say YES, definitely. I am original. I was voted most 'unique' in high school (as if that really means anything, )

I can tell you I think very differently than most other people... I think everyone's unique and everyone's got things in common with other people. I come up with an ingenious idea once in a blue moon. Everyone does
