WOW!! I totally had one of those days too with my 2 1/2 year old. He was so (dare I say) bad today, I was fantasizing about putting them both in day care and going back to work. And Ive never had that thought in 2 1/2 years. I pray tomorrow's a better day.

I hope it is for you too.

Yes I have had those days with my 2 1/2 year old son as well
He has recently learned to spit ( yes how attractive) and continues to practice doing so on my new kitchen floor Then of course as I go to clean it up he runs through it slips and hurts himself
He is impossible to get on a schedule. So I feel like a horrible mother b/c my child has no steady schedule.

He has learned to take off his diaper ( well one side of it only ) and run through the house saying ' change me change me'
Usually this happens when the bell rings and I go to answer the door so the delivery guy or whoever is at the door gets to see him running around the house with half his butt hanging out of his diaper and screaming.

Oh what fun potty training will be!

Can you share some potty training tips? We are trying now and have had some resistance. Thanks

thanks so much for the tips! He will be 2 1/2 July 22nd and we are going to start with the potty training.

I know this may sound dumb but I don't know how to explain to him what to do. He has just started ( as in last week) pointing at us when we go in the bathroom and saying ' pee pee in the toilet' but when dh asks him if he wants to do it he says yes. Dh holds him up on the potty and nothing happens. If we try to sit him down on it he freaks out

OMG!!! Is it in the air?? I am 1300 miles away and Alex has been the WORST this week... today he finally started to be 'better'... LOL...

Potty training has been tough for us as well.. He's 2 and a half as well and he showed an interest early.. Doesn't want to be bothered with the little potty.. has a step stool for the big potty, and has only sat and farted on it LOL....... Brian said he peed a little one day (sitting) Somehow I don't believe him!!!

Without sounding totally retarded.... Arent you worried they are gonna pee all over your bathroom standing??? Or on the rug in his room?? I just bought potty training for boys, a book and a tape.. let you know how it goes!
