Hmmm, remember when it was March and you were all clammoring for summer to start?

I've said this before, but it fits. It stinks so bad it would knock a buzzard off a sh*t wagon. Especially in the city!

This weather $ucks, y'all. It's thick, sticky and smells vaguely of cat pee and sweaty armpits. It makes me want to mix broken glass into every meal. But it's not the heat. For real. Because it's not actually hot. It's only like 72 degrees. That's room temperature. That's supposed to be comfortable.
Now take that room, seal the windows with duct tape, suck all the oxygen out and fill it with New England Clam Chowder. Now try to take a deep, cleansing breath in that room.
That's right. The humidity is so high that young children and the elderly are in danger of drowning if they yawn. It's 94% humidity. Technically, I could have done the backstroke to work today.
Everything is damp and moist and preparing to grow mold. Everything is also clammy. The towels in the bathroom haven't been dry since May. They waver between cold and slimy or warm and damp. Neither is pleasant.
Air conditioning is even crueler at this point. Since it's not actually hot outside you don't really need the AC, but if you don't have it on everything, including the dog, the kitchen chairs and your hair, will wilt and grow more mold. But you freeze your @ss off sitting in the AC, so you wear sweatpants to bed and burrow under the covers. When you get up in the morning and walk into the un-air-conditioned kitchen you immediately start to sweat and nearly pass out from heat exhaustion.
Don't get me started on what it's doing to my hair... we're not speaking until September.

I just almost slipped on the moss growing in the backyard!!
And so much for my cute flippy hairdo!!! What was I thinking????????? I literally have tons of sweat pouring down my body as I dry/flatten my frizzy, wavy mop. I mean, I need to take a shower after I've taken a shower!!!!
