The one thing I am very adament about is using your new last name in a monogram. It's my opinion obviously...but I'm OCD about it!

I would use only the brides initial or the bride and the groom's first initials only.

The new last name initials are not to be used until after they've gone through the ceremony.

Bride first initial, NEW LAST NAME, groom first initial.

I would say just brides initial-without new last name.
I have heard some superstitions about using and writing your new last name before you get married..so I wouldnt use it

I would just use the first initial of her first name or if her first name is short enough to fit on the cookie, then just her first name only. So for me it would either be L or Lisa.

What about on the wedding inviations and programs/menu's? I wanted to have a monogram theme? Do you think it's bad to do bride's first initial, new last initial and grooms first initial on those?

I agree with Christine. they haven't said I DO, so she can't say her last name is Mrs. SO and SO.

Yes for a shower , I'd do the bride & groom's first initials
If it was a wedding favor, I'd do Bride/NewLast/Groom

totally agree!!!! Its HER bridal shower , just use her first name initial.
