This girl sounds like she has some pent up anger from something. I had a similar but not exactly the same situation where I had to decide if I want to continue a friendship. This was someone that previously thought about having her in my BP. I decided to express my feelings to her and we have not spoken since. It has been many months now...I can't exactly remember when it was. I have no tolerance for selfishness. I would take her out of the party and tell her how I feel. You are busy and stressed enough without the added drama. JMO Good Luck!

You don't need this - you have so much good going on around you.
Ask her to step down nicely. Because if she does this now over dresses, what might she do later?

I agree. I was in a similar situation, unfortunatly I was unable to ask her to step down nicely, we had a huge argument because I kept my mouth shut for too long. I think you should do that before it gets any worse. You don't need this kind of drama and thats exactly what I said to my ex-BM!

I would get rid of her nicely. You have too many other things to prepare for and do not need her making you upset.

Re: How would you handle it?
if there has been one thing that I have learned this year, it is about choosing your battles...
If you are really tired of this girl, maybe it is time to let her know how you feel and cut your losses... unfortunately people change as they get older, sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse, or sometimes people just grow apart... do you really want this girl in your life after the way she has been treating you??

I know a lot of people frown on throwing someone out of a BP, but is it okay in a situation like this? I don't want to be thought of as bride-zilla or anything. I am just not sure of what to say to her that won't make me look mean.
You have to worry about your feelings - she's not showing much concern for them right now. Don't worry about what everyone else thinks (I know that it's easier said than done)...
