Ridiculous. I would say sorry I am not going over any wedding planning as it is a special holiday for me. I have no idea how you deal with that crap!

I thought I was the only one who felt this way. It seems that EVERYTHING we have done or booked or planned has been a problem. She has not had ONE nice thing to say about ANYTHING we are doing.

I'm going to strangle her. She thinks that we have all of the time in the world to do seating - and then insists that we get together when she's free. On December 24th or 25th. As much as she grieves that fact that I'm not nor never will be Jewish, you have seriously got to be kidding me. You're not free on ANY other day?????

Well, since Chanukah begins at sundown on December 25, I think 6 PM would be an appropriate time to get together. What do you think?

The nerve of some people to show that kind of disrespect.

Tell her that she should have gotten you during passover.

Here's an idea that would make a statement:

give her the updated list with just her people and tell her to make up the tables, you can do your own w/o her!!!

It would be fine for her I am sure. Chanukah isn't a major holiday for us.

i agree with the idea- just give her her list of people who said ' yes' and let her do it, or just have your FH help you- he should know his family well enough..... thats how it was for us- MIL wasn't really involved in the seating- DH helped me with his side....
