maybe you should make a fake proof of it and show it to fmil...put something like

in case you're hungry, there is a bagel shop/Ihop/ dinner just down the road for your personal purchasing convenience. LOL

I could - but then I'd have to talk to her again.
I'm just loving that she forgot to take care of something that was her own idea!

or...she could have left it up to you WITHOUT telling you...so she could hold it over your head for an eternity! LOL

definitely gloat and let her know you caught her flub up. it's the least she deserves!
