Who knows how long its going to take to lose weight? Honestly not to be negative, but you might not even lose it, I would order it 6-9 months before the wedding..its easy to take a dress in

I ordered my dress back in October for a July wedding. I also want to lose about 20 pounds. The seamstress at the store told me not to worry they are constantly taking in dresses for brides who lose weight for thier wedding.

I agree. I got my dress a couple of weeks ago at RK bridal and I am getting married in mid November. I think most brides try to shed a few pounds before the big day.
