I know where you are coming from and I am a strong believer of NOT indulging in the past and keep it what it is for the PAST..I got married in Aug so he's mine and even though we would love to think none of us has been with anyone else it's better left untalked about. Men are famous for remembering what they want so less is more ladies and that's advice from the married side. P.S. Lay off the boose if it works as a truth syrum for you.

I'm not in the usual situation, my fh and I were best friends for 7 years before we dated so we know just about EVERY detail of each other's past...it's good and bad, More good, I like that we know eachother so well, and I knew about his past before we were dating so I wasn't uncomfortable about it.. I'd say if it bothers you don't have to talk about it...the past is the past

Everyone has a few skeletons in their closet but I also think we need to accept our partners for who they are and what they used to be. I don't need details about romantic vacations from the past but I try not to shy away either. Without all of those past experience neither one of us would be who we are today. In fact, I believe that everything happens for a reason and it all lead me to meet Scott and fall in love with him. We have known each other for 4 years but only dated for the last year. Since we were friends we knew a lot about each other before dating but the truth is all of his past girlfriends are the ones who lost out because I am getting the prize :)
