The Church can sometimes be a pain in the arse to deal with. I'm sorry you have more added stress to deal with.

Have you tried contacting the church? I find that I get a result if I stalk and actually speak to a person. Priests shouldn't even have voicemail if they aren't going to call you back!

Is there anyone else that works in the office? Maybe if you make her look bad for not doing her job, someone will get on her a$$ about calling you back.

The pre cana lady is affiliated with the church, but her contact # is her home #! And the deacon is impossible to reach... not to mention he hasn't sent us the dispensation certificate AND he had us fill out the wrong paperwork intitially.

Add to that, FH's church basically lying to us about the 'donation' by doubling the $$$ and no one told us the priest who was to perform our wedding retired!

That is insane

I would start leaving a message every hour on the hour. Tell her that since she stressed how important it is, you want her to understand that you realize the significance and just keep leaving the same exact message over and over until she calls you.

I would definitely continue trying to reach her but speak to someone at the rectory & say you've been trying to reach her to no avail & you have to see her Wed. but have no idea where to go. Someone has to be able to reach her from the church rectory.

Believe me I feel the nonsense/bs of the church as well....
