Re: i know this has been asked before...re: when to go for fitting
Your salon will tell you when. It's usually a month and half before the date, and you'll have two or three more fittings if necessary.

I would say mid to end of August for your first fitting.

RK is great, they tell you when you need to go based on your wedding date.
I'd go in the middle of August for the first one if I was you. My wedding is 2 mos and 1 day after yours and my first fitting is October 14th I believe, in the late afternoon.

Since you're the beginning of October, I'd say the beginning of August.
ETS: Hmm, now I've read your edited post. Do you think your body is really going to change a lot during that time? You could tell another white lie and tell them that you pushed the wedding back 3 weeks. My cousin had to push her wedding up 2 weeks at the last minute bc her groom was in the army and they messed up his leave, make something like that up (but hers was the truth!).

What I am doing, is giving the salon the actual date of the wedding after my dress arrives. That way all the fittings are scheduled properly.

Things change so dates can change as well. Does that make sense?

You can tell them the date changed. You ordered far enough in advance to not have it really effect them.
I ordered my dress from RK, told them the right date and it still came in 6 weeks later so they may have put the order in at the same time they would've anyway for your dress, based on either date.

don't worry about having 'lied' to them before - they won't care. for your fittings, i would be honest. i actually was honest about my date when i ordered the dress, but i asked the salesperson to lie to the manufacturer and she said they do that anyway, so she did. fast forward to when my dress arrives... they call me to start getting fittings and we're having trouble finding a date and the girl on the phone starts to get nervous... i ask her what the problem is and it turns out she thinks my wedding is a full month before it actually is. the salesperson put the early date on their paperwork too. anyway, it wasn't a big deal at all - they didn't mind - and i never even lied to them, they did it on their own.
