Well, my mommy always say 'if you need to ask, then it probably is....' :)

You don't have to match it. People aren't gonna notice the font on your envelope, they are just gonna rip into the envelope to get to the invite. At least that's what I did with all the invites I had received.... and this coming from me, a graphics person! :)

You can go with the semi fancy if you still want something elegant.

BTW, we're date twins!

That's a cool font!!

The one I originally chose was too fancy/swirly and the names wouldn't fit on my square envelopes.

Bump - any other brides use fancy fonts or 'scrolly' fonts and have any thoughts?

my font (porceline) was a bit fancy and some of the letters didn't look right to me, but the post office knows where it's going!

I personally love it.

My guideline was if I did not think my grandmother could read it, then I did not use it!

Can I borrow her??? I was just really worried about the 1's being confused for 7's but the more I look at different fonts it seems like A LOT of them are like that!

borrow, I dunno, she's pricey......

If you are worried, what if you do the name in the 'fancy' font and the address in a more simple font??

this is what i did for mine:

I used Shelley Allegro Script to match the invitation (which I will post here... someday! when you can do it for me )

I was concerned about it with the script.

I used the same font a slightly bigger size so it would be easier to read. So far, not a missed invitation and RSVP.... so it was readable!
