Debbie, I know exactally how you feel...I'm in Ft. Lauderdale and I booked my place without visiting it (Danfords on the Sound). I had been there years ago (so long ago I don't really remember it) but the web site looks good and my family loves the place so I booked it. Funny thing is I almost booke the Flowerfield...my aunt and uncle had their recption there last February and it was absolutely beautiful!! You will not be dissapointed. The only reason I didn't book there is because I didn't want to do the same thing as them plus I didn't think we would be able to meet their minimum.

Thanks Debbie and same goes for you too. This board has been so helpful with my planning, the girls on here are great. They have all made my planning go so much smoother.
My wedding is in October and I won't be in NY until Sept. so let me know how your trip goes.

I don't think I have ever heard a bad thing about them...except the price...but well worth it...

I am getting married at Lands End..same caterer...and the tasting was AMAZING!! they really know how to take care of you

you should not worry at ALL!!

I am having my reception there 4/13/02 and I love it! It is the most beautiful place on Long Island!!! Believe me, the website does not do it justice!!!! If you have nay specific questions, feel free to ask!
