i'm not a veggie lady, but could you just make what the 2 of you would normally eat together, then add a side of chicken or fish or whatever, for him? that way you're not really making 2 meals altogether.

Re: Veggie Ladies
Some of the recipes I make for soups and stews are vegetarian, and then I just add cooked ground chicken or cooked grilled chicken, can you do that for some meals? Like, I make chili, and then just add ground chicken at the end, or I make black bean soup and then just add grilled chicken after it’s done... I usually wind up making 2 dinners because I am just a picky eater.

Re: Veggie Ladies
I'm not veggie but I don't eat red meat, pork and dairy - I do most of the cooking, so DH deals with it. He knows that it would be a huge pain for me to make two meals five nights a week.

That will never happen to me. I would never make him dinner and not me. Although he does do a lot of the cooking these days...
I do love me some cereal though. I wish I had some Cheerios right now. Delish.

Re: Veggie Ladies
I was wondering this myself. I am contemplating becoming a vegetarian and DH has absolutely no desire to go there with me and I so don't want to have to cook two meals... also if you are veggie because of ethical reasons then doesn't it still go against your beliefs to cook meat even if you are not eating it yourself?

Except for pigs in a blanket. You aren't picky about those.

Re: Veggie Ladies
I cook almost exclusively free-range chicken for DH. I am not 100% opposed to eating animals - I am simply opposed to factory farms and the deplorable lives these animals are forced into. I still think eating animals is gross, but I digress.....

I dont know anything about meat. I havent had a bite for almost 18 years!
