I've wanted to scream noooOOOOooooo when I've seen some wedding dresses, but refrained.

Yes, but i think I am queen of the tacky ideas at their wedding so I don't want to go there...

What's worse? Telling someone they have no taste, or letting them pay through the nose to show all their guests that they they have no taste?

I even thought of registering a ghost account just to give my honest opinion.

We should have one. Like an NWR honesty name where we can tell them what we actually think. Although, I don't think anyone would appreciate a reply from NWRhownesty saying 'That dress you just spend $2500 on? Yeah, it's just about the ugliest thing I've ever seen.'

But no one would know who it was who was posting.

leaving RIGHT NOW - i was just printing out directions - visiting a very sick friend in the hospital in Philadelphia tomorrow

...but since i was going, I booked a suite at the 4 seasons. If I have to be depressed about my friend I figured I could at least be depressed in style.

Kitty, that sounds like it will be a great thing for her. Even though she can't speak or move, she's the same inside, right? Still coherent, and able to understand everything she hears? So she'll probably appreciate the company and any normalcy you can give her.

Thanks ladies! She had brain surgery to remove a cancerous tumor (3rd time) but this time when she came out of the anesthesia she can’t talk or write. Her mom called me to come and bring music she likes and sing to her. The doctors think this will help. Clearly, they’ve never heard me sing.
