Okay, I'll bite.

I do - the difference between our salaries is over six figures. However, FH also does incredibly well, so it skews things to think of it in terms of the difference in salary.

And in the end, who cares? It's all OUR money, no matter who earns it.

And that aside, I don't measure anyone's worth by how much he or she earns. By no means is any woman who makes less than her FH or DH worth less just because 'It's 2007' and somehow that means she should be making more than her man... We as women have more opportunities now than we did 50 years ago, and they do not have to be viewed just in terms of salary. You can be a strong, independent woman no matter how much you make, whether you work or stay at home. You're not worth less because you earn less. At the same time, no man is worth less because his FI or DW makes more than he does.

We're EQUALS - no matter who is making what.

we used to be just about equal but i just ventured into my own business so FOR NOW he's the bread winner. i have absolutely no problem with that! i'm proud that he does as well as he does and vice versa! we're partners...

I used to make more but he's surpassed me by a lot now. As long as one of us is getting paid what we're actually worth, it's not a problem with me.

But when I made more, DH's ego got a little bruised.

We make the same...he actually works overtime tho so it makes him earn a little more!! I'm a nurse and hes a murse (male nurse)...he has no problem being nurse focker, and I have no problem spending his overtime money!! and YES a straight male nurse, they DO exsist!!

i earn more between our full time salaries....i also have a part time job (per diem), so that adds even more income on top of that. but, ihave a ton more bills than he does at the moment. i have a lot of student loans and he dosnt have any. so it evens out.

i do joke around with him anout this a lot! saying...yeah, i'm the bread winner, i'm the money maker, lol....but he buys everything for the apartment practically since he is able to put away more $. I am lucky to have a flexible job where it is easy to find part time work (i am an occupational therapist)
