Can you call the the company that holds your 401K funds? Perhaps they can walk you thru it.

Is there any way they can train you or have someone sit with you. Even assuming you know the stuff, they should've done that anyway.

I had a job like that once... I told them what i was not good at and then got the job and it turned out the whole job was doing exactly what i said i didnt know how to do!

Can you talk to them about it? Explain to them that you don't understand the forms? Or perhaps you could call the 401k company and have them talk you through it?

I have a new job and I think I got it cus Im from maine and all my bosses are from maine. I told them in my interview math was my worst subject adn i have absolutly no experience with accounting nor did I intend to have a job related to it. Now Im doing accounting stuff- i think- its like 401 K stuff and i have nooooo idea what Im doing and they told me just to fill the forms out but I dont understand what they are saying and its like my boss expects me to know this stuff! So Im not sure what to do. Bleh! Sorry- I needed to rant!
