Re: repost from 08 board: Not happy with FH

oooo tough one. FH and I fight about 'trust' all of the time! He just insists on being so f*ing friendly with his exes! (yes plural! ) I kinda just suck it up now....but to answer your question, I feel you DO have a right to know. (As I finish my 3rd glass of wine!)

hmmm that's a tough one. If it's not an issue then why is he being defensive about it? For now I'd just let it go, calm down, and don't drink too much!

I would def be annoyed. Yes, it is reasonable for people to have 'girl friends'. But I don't agree with being secreive about it, especially with an ex-fiance. You are going to be married and communication is key. I would tell hime exactly how you feel and if is a continuing problem, I would ask him to not talk to her on the phone anymore. Your relationship should be the most important thing. I would ask him, if the situation was reversed how would you feel. I would not get too tipsy b/c it only makes you feel worse and do things you may not normally. Try to keep it together and talk about it tommorow. Feel better

I'm sorry. I feel like guys don't understand the way we girls ask questions. Why do they assume that as soon as we ask a question we are 'untrusting'? It's a Question - you have every right! Tell FH the rest of your lives will be filled with Questions!! He probably just doesn't see it that way per guy mentality. Talk about it tomorrow; everything will be OK!

I'm a bit 'tipsy' too, but i can see where you are both coming from. i look at it like this.........i have friends that i indulge some things to before FH. he knows this and understands this. he knows he'll hear it soon, that i just need to stew on things.

men think VERY differently than we do. at this point in your realationship, i doubt there's really anything to worry about, but he is an individual, and he is allowed to seek out who he chooses.....you get no say in the matter...........thats' how i see it for myself. if i feel lefft out later on, we discuss it, so he knows i feel, and i know how he feel, and we're always on the same page after our chat.

i babbled, but i only hope it works out for you!!
