i didnt want to do it at first, but then i remembered that i caught the bok once and i was sooooo excited about it! ppl usually really like the bok and garter toss, its fun!

We're not doing garter or bouquet toss. I've always felt both were tacky. We're doing an anniversary dance instead.

At my FBIL wedding (the one I went to where there was no garter toss) they gave the boK to the couple that had been married the longest, all the married couples got up and danced and they counted up to eliminate couples until there was only 1 left. WE can't really do that b/c it will be the same couple at our wedding!

Yeah, that's exactly what we're doing. Maybe you can make you're own spin on the dance?

i want to do it! all the weddings weve been to in the last few years didnt do it so fh thought it was out of style or something but i told him it wasnt! haha

i did not vote either, but i probably will not be doing many 'traditional' things at my wedding just because we want to be different, so whatever anyone is expecting will probably not be done

a year and a half ago i was dead against it and as time goes on i think back of the funny times of watching the bq toss and garter and having soo much fun. So we are doing it.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to do it, but I think it's a lot of fun and I know mine and FH's family and friends will love to do it, so we're doing it.

I'm doing it. As much as we may want to be hip and unconventional people really like the whole spectacle of it and look forward to it. I have no huge dislike of it so i'm doing it all.

We have about 2 single girlfriends between us so the bok toss would be pointless. that and I just plain never liked it.
The retrieval of the garter sometimes is funny, and we do have quite a few single guys, but since I'm against the bok toss, the garter throw would be pointless.

im still on the fence about it. i personally think its tacky but i know alot of people look foward to them... if anything we may do it, but i'd put in on my knee so FH doesnt have to go ALL the way up
