That sounds beautiful. I used bordeaux (like burgandy) for my June wedding. My mom thought it was too dark for spring, but with light flowers I thought it looked beautiful. Another thought -- with the men in navy blazers, maybe navy for the girls as well?

I think that would be beautiful. We are doing a beach wedding and they guys are wearing navy blazers & khakis. My first thought was to put the girls in a champagne color but my MOH claims to look awful in that color and I want her to be happy. Wea re going to do an eggplant/burgundy color or blue for the BMs. I think with light flowers it will be stunning.

beachbride - one other suggestion besides navy. My friend got married last June at the shore - guys were in navy blazers and khakis and the BMs wore light blue Anahka dresses. The guys had ties that matched the ssame light blue color and it looked great. I hate navy too so may opt for a lighter shade.

Beachbride - I am getting married on the beach this July 5 and am having my MOH in red (I don't have BM). The groom and BM will be in black suits (not tuxes). I was unsure of the color theme too, but my wedding/reception is a 5pm on a Saturday so I felt that called for the attire to be a little dressier.

I would do white shirts and the tie will dpend on what color BM dresses you pick. As for centerpeices, you can do roses, candles, or even a seashell/sand arrangement with it.

i love red for bridesmaids in july. i saw this done recently and it came out just gorgeous in the pictures! good luck! sorry i couldn't be of much help!

Its your wedding I do what you want. I am not a fan of pastel colors so that idea was out the door from the beginning. What ever you choose will look nice. People are doing things so different these days. Every wedding I go to now I see new things.
