Re: my MOH is PREGGO!! what should I do??

Just congratulate her and be happy for her. She's allowed to wear a special dress anyway so no worries there, and 6-7 months is fully functional, she should have no problems

ETA: Congrats on becoming an aunt!!

First of all to your sister and to you! If she still wants to be your MOH then let her. She'll be ok. At 6-7 months she should still be pretty mobile. I would talk to the dress people and have her explain she's pg so they can get her the right dress and plan for her belly. How long is the ceremony? If it's to long maybe you could figure something out so she can sit. I think it'll be fine. MANY pg women stand in weddings and do great! Just mention that you would love to have her remain your MOH, but that you understand if it's to much for her. That way she doesn't feel left out or thrown out of the wedding party. Let her decide how much she can handle and be supportive. CONGRATULATIONS

I am assuming it is her first baby, she will be fine at 6-7 months, (except for a complicated PG)

I would ask her if she would like to stay as
MOH and offer her a seat during the ceremony, just in case she needs it.

My GF was 8 1/2 months PG as a MOH and she was fine!

I think she should do it, but you will have to gauge her comfotability, but she should be fine.

Have her sit...

My cousin was one of my MOH and I really wanted her to be in the wedding... she was prego with twins and gave birth 1 month before the wedding... she was still very sore and a little uncomfortable but I just had the Bridal party sit... it was perfect.

Don't worry...

why cant they put a chair up there for her to sit? Its not like shes not going to attend the ceremony at all........in most ceremonys your sitting most of the time anyway, i would check out how your church? sets up the alter before you make any moves.

i love this idea!!! it if's really important that she be there for you on that day, why not have her sit up there with you?! i think most people will find it really significant and special!

Thats what I would have suggested. I'm sure your clergy won't a pregnant woman sitting down during the ceremony to rest. Congrats on being a new aunt!

Congrats!

We had a BM who gave birth 1 week later. No problems...and the ceremony was OVER an hour long. We asked her the day of...and she was fine standing...but we had ANOTHER BM faint (yup...it was hot). She should just drink a lot of fluids and have a chair nearby in case.

We got lucky & got a GREAT BM dress for our preg BM that matched our colors exactly. The pics looked awesome!

Don't worry...things will work out perfectly!
