oh wow Liz that is hard...i dont know what i would do.
since i havent been with Fh longer than 3 weeks straight in our whole 4 yr relationship because of hte military i would be able to deal with it. But i also wouldnt want to now that we would be married.
but he is going to be deployed again in 2010 even though he leaves in 2 weeks?! That stinks. But good luck with your decision. I know it will be a hard one but talk to fh about everything that you would want for your first year of marriage and see if that is doable will you are both living on 2 opposite ends of the US.

i know a guy i worked with did this..his wife and kids live in colorado...they seem to be doing fine.

its hard not seeing eachother but you guys gotta do whats best for eachother if obs are going to do things for you to have a better life then thats what you gotta do

I think it could definitely work. You don't want to regret not taking your dram job and resenting him for it years down the line.

yes, a very close friend of mine accepted a job as a doctor in baltmore and her usbnd lives in NYC....granted not terribly far, but still a lifestyle they had to adjust and make accomodations for...and most weekend they fly to see each other..it works for them...not sure if this is helpful, i know its not exactly the same thing, but still a lond distance marriage
