OOT Bags- i know this is dumb but i dont know- my family from out east is coming to nassau just for the night before the wedding(cause it's early sunday morn) do i get them all bags or just the people coming in to town from out of state for a couple of days??? thanks

what would you put in them? (personally i dont see the need) but if you were to do them i would do them for anyone staying at the hotel..

That is what I was going to do- small tote with water, maybe some popcorn, goodies ect.. Direction to hall and a couple of good places to eat in the area...

what do you think???

We have about 70 OOT (FH is from upstate NY). We are going to put H20, advil, and pretzels in all the rooms! I went to a few weddings where we had to stay over night and only one out of the 5 gave us stuff. We loved that they did. I stole her idea of what to put in the rooms. You dont have to go crazy but its nice!

we made OOT bags for everyone staying at the hotel- and honestly, if you are doing some you may have to give to everyone, only because you give all the bags to the front desk of the hotel and they hand then out as people check in and they won't be able to tell who traveled far and who is just coming from another part of LI, it's much easier for them to just hand EVERYONE checking in for your wedding a bag. You don't have to go crazy with them- just some bottled water and some snacks- we put a lot of stuff in them and actually had a great time making them (My mom and I sat on her living room floor one day and assembled them all!) but you can make them as simple or elaborate as you want- people will mainly just be excited about the water and some chips or something for before or after the wedding. I am always happy to see one when I stay over for a wedding, but never disappointed if we don't get one- it's just nice to get some water! HTH!

I ordered OOT boxes (gable boxes) that came pre-filled with stuff.

Everyone loved them and Stacey Owens was so great to deal with.
