I wasn't sure about that. SO I was looking online. Cranes Wdding etticate page says that 'in the afternoon' is not neccesary, it is just asssumed, b/c people don't usually have a wedding at midnight.

true true!

Then it looks good to me!

two thousand and eight

I would change this to 'two thousand eight'

think about how you say 2008 out loud. Most don't add 'and'.

Re: Proofread Please

Do you have it in fancy script ? If not, I wouldn't spell 'honour' but 'honor'

And lower case Daughter and Son.. if you are reading it as it sounds like one sentence.

Honour is usually reserved only for weddings in a house of worship. Pleasure or honor is used for weddings elsewhere. Just an etiquette thing.
I would also add in the afternoon and capitalize Two.

Re: Proofread Please

i agree with the capitalization suggestions people gave. Also, I am getting married at RH and originally put 'honour' on the invitation, but changed it to 'honor' b/c I didn't put 'the favour of a reply...' on the response card and the wording on those 2 cards are supposed to match. i wrote my response card like yours, 'please respond on or before...', so i would suggest changing it to 'honor.' i hope that makes sense!

otherwise it looks good!
