My FH and I just booked our honeymoon to Hawaii starting September 1. If you want to go to a warm spot, Hawaii is supposed to be great at that time of year. I've also heard that Aruba is nice at that time, too, although I've never been there.

We did Grand Cayman and Disney World the middle of August (wedding was 08/18/02). The weather was beautiful in both places, and it wasn't too hot or crowded at all.

We had our honeymoon exactly that time of year: late August/beginning September honeymoon in 2002. We went there for OUR honeymoon for 11 days, late August 2002 until mid September 2002. Our wedding date was: August 24, 2002. We'd had a blast! We'd booked our trip through Liberty Travel, www.libertytravel.com as one package including hotel, airfare, breakfast buffet, etc.
The food is great in Paris, lots of meat but not prime like USDA prime in America but still good. The crepes are great and the pastries!! Oh God, you can't miss out on the pastries. Clothing shopping is very expensive. Nice shopping and pregitious yet very expensive mall:

I recommend to purchase American Express travel checks before you leave the US like we did and Euro currency. Hubby took French language courses for 4 years in high school and recently took a refresher course at the New School-one day French for travelers.

Our wedding is 9/12 and we recently booked our Honeymoon to Spain. The Spanish Riviera is supposed to be beautiful that time of year.
