What happened to the 1-3' they were saying yesterday? It wasn't snowing when got up and by the time I left for work it looked like there was at least a couple of inches. Had to turn around about 1/4 of the way there cause the roads were so bad I spun out twice!

Re: Snow - how much??
I would say about 3' is about right for eastern nassau. The roads weren't too bad but some were still icy in spots. Sunrise Hwy. wasn't bad. I heard mixed reviews from the school bus drivers from my building (a BOCES so they come from all around the county) on Southern State and some were saying Wantagh Pky was closed. Some side roads are slippery, others are clear. Drive safely everyone!
