when my mom had a stroke 3 years ago i had to leave my job to stay home and take care of her to which i still do to this day..its been an adjustment..not having the freedom to do whatever i want whenever,cooking,cleaning etc etc but bottomline shes my mom she would do it for me in a heartbeat...yea sometimes i wish to the heavens it was diffrent and things could go back but they cant..she will never be the same and will always require care...its totally normal to not want to adjust ur lifestyle but sometimeslife just does not turn out how we expect it...i just thank god every day she is alive
