if you find a reception hall, vendor, whatever, that you've very happy with, book now! you'd be amazed at how quickly placed book up! & you may save some money that way.

we booked our reception hall about 14 months in advance & they only had one date available in two months!!! its unbelievable!

I would book now for many reasons. First, if you want a particular vendor, if you wait he/she might be booked already. Second, if you book now you are charged 2003 prices not 2004 prices. I am getting married next Sept. and by last April (2002) I had all my vendors booked.

Definitely book now! You'd want the best vendors you can afford and those are the ones who go quick! I can't tell you how disheartened I am every time I call a highly recommended vendor and they tell me they're already booked for my wedding. It would also make is easier to pay off the wedding too. You can pay them on installments instead of holding on to the money now--in my case, I'd end up spendoing it on other things

If it is a holiday weekend I would book ASAP. They fill up fast. It is never too early to book. I booked last August for my Feb 2004 wedding. You get the prices now instead of then. Good Luck !!!

I would also book now since you want Labor day weekend. I know when I was looking this past october for memorial day of 2004 a few places had been booked already. Certain things you can wait for but I would do your reception site and cermony site asap.
