can any of your bm's come to your appt? in terms of the flowers im sure you could always change your mind, and for invites maybe list what you like and dont like about each one and maybe that will help you decide?

i go through all the same crap love, no worries, everything will work itself out

Hang in there, I hate making decisions too!! But that's what we're here for, hopefully you can feed off our responses and feel most comfortable with what you think is best. I'm sorry about your FMIL, maybe stopping asking her to come to things may make it better since the stress of her always saying no gets you down anyway, hugs for you!!

Gina, decision making is never easy. I am very clear about everything that I want and like (WR or NWR - just life in general) and for me its too very hard making decisions. I always doubt myself, and think all I do is stupid and shyt. So dont worry its totally normal. Just think of what u want the vibe to be, the feel ur going for, and u will choose the right thing. After all the flowers design can be changed gazillion times more, so dont worry. Both of the invites ur deciding between are gorgeous, so cant go wrong there.

FMIL - why u need her there??? If she doesnt want to be anywhere with u, why u want her? I tried to get close to my FSIL, and at a point it seemed working, but then I realized she and I will never be friends, which has nothing to do with me, but to her relationship w/FH. So who cares? She is nice to u when u guys see each other? If the answer is 'yes' then be happy, ur already better off than most of girls. After all what matters the most is if she stays out of ur hair and doesnt annoy u

Awww sorry FMIL is being that way. Seems like maybe she is having a hard time letting her son go. Don't take it personally it's her with the problems not you.

As far as the decision making, just listen to the professionals take their best advice and go from there. Maybe (and I'm not even kidding) have a glass of wine before you go, just to calm some nerves. Everything is going to be beautiful. Have some fun. Remember you will never have this time again so enjoy it!!!

trying voicing your feelings to your FH about your FMIL see if he can interject. if things continue then just learn to be okay with her lack of concern for you wedding. once you accept it you will be able to enjoy everything about your wedding. if she doesnt care to participate then that is her loss not yours.
with regards to the other decisions just breathe and take one thing at a time.

Gina I feel for you... I think you will be happy with whatever decision you make!

As far as FMIL is concerned, she is probably not dealing well with her son leaving her and maybe that's why she is being this way. I'm really sorry you have to go through this.

ita. maybe FMIL doesnt know how to adjust to her son leaving her.

as for the decisions, dont stress. just rememberr...whatever you pick will be great...no one else would have seen/known of ALL THE OTHER CHOICES...and they will just be IN LOVE with whatever you did choose. take a step back and relax. remember, your guests only see ONE invite and ONE flower arrangemetn...and it will look gorgeous no matter what!!

Ugh I'm sorry your FMIL is like that... that su cks.

Try to relax and have a good time tonight. If you're not ready for everything, maybe cancel one of your appointments and move it to another day so it isn't as overwhelming? Good Luck and try to HAVE FUN!

No offense, but why are you caring about FMIL so much. It seems like she's not investing much time into the planning or you so let it go. My FMIL doesn't seem to be interested much, I mean her baby boy is leaving her lol. I'm not close to her at all so I don't invite her out to things, nor has she ever taken an interest in doing things just me and her. I could care less lol.

I need to take ur advice!!!!!!!! thank u! it was kinda like a slap in the face but much needed!!!

I didn't say it to be mean, but really it's her problem not yours. There's that odd thing with mothers and sons, so I hear. It sounds like she doesn't want to cut the apron strings. My FMIL, when I see her which is rare, can go on and on and on about how excited she is. Wether she's truly happy or not, it's no skin off my back. Also, if you genuinely like her as a person and you are the one inviting her places, that is great on your part bc you made the effort.
