The most important thing to me is getting along with the vendor. I want to make sure I'm comforable working with them so personality is definitely important. Then if you're not satisfied with their packages, ask if they're flexible enough so you can put together your own package with the things you want and need. I love the vendors I'm getting for my wedding, if you're interested: ADA Photo--ask for Tony J.--very nice, very sweet, very helpful, great work Wild Rose--Marie is the absolute best! I've met with several videographers but I never found anyone better! Tommy Tunes--Joe--fun, fun guy...full of energy. I saw him perform at a showcase and he was great. Hope that helps
