I went to Burtons today and had the worst experience. I know everyone loves them, but they basically gave us a quote and were rushing us out within 5 minutes. I felt like they are very independent and don't need or care for more business. Maybe it was the person who helped us. I dont know but I know that people love them, but I didnt get a good vibe.

So, I went to ************* and their price was very good. Not much of a difference from Burtons and I loved how personable they were, but there are a lot of negative reviews. Does anyone have any recent reviews on them? They are a recommended Vineyard Caterers vendor and have a warehouse right by there. I gave a deposit, so I hope that they are better than the reviews. Any feedback???

I also didn't get a good feeling with Burton's Florist...so we just kept shopping. Not every popular vendor is right for everyone....that's why there are so many

i felt the same way about Burtons, i ended up booking w/ Flower Barn in seaford. They actually ended up beating Burton's price and were very nice. Sorry i can't help w/ ***.

Same feeling here...met with 6 or 7 florists but booked on the spot with Flowers & Designs by Gina.

I got decent quotes at Flowers by Brian and Pedestals. I couldn't shop around much b/c my RH requires that I use one of their house florists.

I heard that Flower Michelle or Flowers by Gina are pretty affordable. Do a search for them.

I had a similar experience with them. Flowers by Michele aren't as inexpensive, but their work was beautiful and they were really nice. I'm going with Verbena designs, who came in VERY close to Burton's price and she's very sweet. She does one wedding at a time and is very detailed. She gave us an itemized list of how much everything cost and pictures of what exact flowers we're using, which is something no other vendor did for me. It's nice to know exactly what you're getting.
