Re: Can I sound like a big baby for a minute?

You're not a baby at all Angela. I felt the same way...there was really no lead up or excitement until the day of the wedding..and even then, there wasn't that much. Just know that people are SO happy for you deep down and that the day will be amazing for you. We are all excited for you and if you need someone to go n last minute errands for you, I will happily do it!

I am sorry you are not complaining or being a baby. You have a right to be upset. I hope you have an amazing wedding.

Lauren is so right (and it was so cute of her to offer to do stuff!)

I felt the same way because my MOH was in school and working full time and I did almost everything myself too!

You will have a wonderful day regardless of your current stresses!!!!!!!

And then you and your DH can meet your new niece or nephew! I can't think of two better things back to back!

You don't sound like a baby....it hurts when people are not as excited as you were for their things...and not that your sisters are not excited for you they are just dealing with different things in their lives. With all the stress of wedding planning the most important thing I think I came away with was that as long as you and FH are happy, excited, in love, healthy, and raring to go that is all that matters. Big hugs coming your way...we are all excited for you!!!!

Aww im so sorry you are feeling like this

I do know how you feel tho, all of my sisters (who were my bridesmiads) are all older and all have children, i never asked them to do much bc I knew they were all busy with the kids but at the same time it really made me sad. I felt like getting the dress etc wasnt as big a deal as I wouldve liked it to be

Thanks so much girls! It just feels so different. It's not that I NEED help...it was just so nice to do things together. Last weekend I went with my mom to a craft store to buy ribbon and before we got in the store she was saying she feels like she hasn't even helped. Fast forward to me walking toward the ribbon - she tells me she'll be in the wool aisle. It's stuff like that, you know?

Ang you do not sound like a big baby and I know how you are sooo close to your sister. I know you are sooo happy for her right now and at the sametime wishing she was her for your big day but, she will be there in Spirit.
If there is anything you need last minute or just to talk you know my number and I'll be there for you.
