My FH is the same exact way. He hates going to doctors/dentists even when he's saying he's in so much pain, blah, blah, blah.... When he's REALLY feeling bad...he'll go to the doctor's office...

You won't be a bad wife..... your FH will always be a man!!! My FH has had insurance for a year after not having it for a little while.... he has one really bad ear.. does he go to the dr? NO.... so dont complain i tell him.... especially when I leave the number and address for him of a dr.. grrrrrr men

MEN!!!!! It was so funny though. I think he was really thinking I would be compassionate when he called. HELL NO!! lol. Instead he got an incompassionate crazy woman! lol

FH and I are the opposite!! FH goes to the doctor immediately if something is wrong. I, on the other hand, don't!!! FH always gets upset with me because I will have certain problems that I'll just ignore. Actually, for the past 2 months my jaw has been bothering me (I believe it's TMJ from grinding my teeth at night) and I still haven't gone to get it checked out!! FH keeps bugging me about going. He says when we live together he is going to force me go to the doctor when something is wrong whether I like it or not!

its so funny to hear this because i was having the same argument the other night...the FH always runs to the doc and I NEVER go....he just recently started the work to get me on his health ins and he claims now that im under his ins he can force me to go!! oooo men!

LOL... I agree with you though. If he isn't feeling well enough to function on a daily basis, he needs to go to the doctor. After a certain point, you just get tired of hearing the moaning and groaning. You should just make him an appt. yourself and force him to go.

FH is a bit of a hypochondriac - in his defense he has had some medical issues in the past so he is a little more susceptible to things then most. But I some times say to him 'just rub some dirt on it' LOL at some point in time you just gotta **** it up and deal with it - not every ach and pain has to make the world stop!

I told him last night, I may not be the first to go straight to the doctor, but if I feel it's getting in the way of me functioning, I'm gonna see a doctor.
I love it when he says he has a fever and it's only 99!!!! (I do think he tries to get on my nerves sometimes though.) Lol

LOL...I was thinking last night that there is no way I'm gonna attend to his every need. Can't train him like that. Could you imagine when we would get married what would happen!!!! LOL

OMG! Im going through the exact same thing!!! I felt that way too, but then I realized its his fault for not going to the dr esp bc he HAS insurance. when i'm sick I have to stick it out and pray its not serious enough. :( . Dont feel bad! You'll be a fabulous Wife.

All guys are like this. FH wont see a doctor if I ever say something. But when Im not feeling well and I dont see a DR, he gets mad!! Well, you should listen to your own advice!!!!!!!
