My DH is a fireman as well, our cake topper was very similar to the last pic posted (fireman carrying bride). The figurine had a helmet on it and the company even painted the number of his ladder company on the frontpiece. The FDNY guys were very impressed..lol

I just had to cancel my honeymoon because FH started the FDNY Academy on Monday. The Fireman Topper could not be more appropriate! For the girls who have it...where did you get it?

If I had seen that sight I would have bought it all as well. LOL good thing you bought the firetruck balloon instead of the flag ones, cuz in NY the FDNY is the Bravest and NYPD is the Finest.

OK...I posted earlier about the stuff I ordered from Colorado Carla. She just e-mailed me about the cake topper. She wanted to know what our hair colors are (me and FH) and what color my flowers are so that she can customize it....How cool is that? I can't wait to see what it (we) looks like!!! I am psyched!!! We e-mailed back and forth a few times. She was very sweet. I recommend her already...but I'll posts pics when I get the finished product!

I havent ordered from her yet, but I am getting the cake topper, my garter and cake cutting sets from her.

My FH has a crew cut right now and he might have one for the wedding too. I was going to ask her if she could do it but I thought I'd be pushing it! She could probably do bald...I wouldn't be surprised!

I had found a website a while back that they made a personalized cake topper using a picture you send. Someone hand painted it and it really looked like the picture. It was cute, it was the persons real face and then whatever theme they had or wanted that is how they were dressed. I will try and findit and post the link a little later.
