I like the first one with the date.

Just an idea...I don't know if you have favors yet but one of my girlfriends wrapped Hershey Kisses in tulle and her ribbon read...

'Hugs and Kisses from the Future Mr. & Mrs.'
It had their name and the date.

It was so cute!

Jenny.. I would do the following

I would write

Jenny & Denis' Engagement Party on one side

and the other the date.

ask them.. I have def seen that before... I made my own tag favors for my e-party, so I don't know..

The only reason I say that you should do both names/date and E-party, is b/c you want it to be clear that this is an ENGAGEMENT party, you know?

My engagement ribbons have our names on one side and the date on the other. I wanted it to say Anjie & Brian's engagement party on one side and the date on the other but they said it was too many letters so we had to nix the 'engagment party' and just went with the date.

My mom printed these ribbons for us for our engagement party (we use the actually date we were engaged not the date of the party)

I tried to scan the ribbon but it looks horrible
something is wrong with the scanner. I think.

it said on one side:

Linda (double heart with an arrow) Michael

on the other side:

Engaged (engagement ring) Nov. 16, 2001

The double heats and ring are pictures that are printed right on the ribbon
