I booked Let Us Entertain You for $1400. I get a 5 hours of music (do not need them for cocktail hour) MC, DJ, giveaways, lights, bubble machine and costumes for my guests to wear during the playing of certain songs. Bill will actually create your own package based on what you want.

Re: What are you spending on DJ
$1450 with expressway music. We really like David, he's great. We didn't want any fancy stuff like lights, etc...-it's just not our style. So we get one dj, who we trust and really like and he will MC too. We wanted a DJ who would stay out of the way for the most part.
their website is www.expresswaymusic.com
ADDED: I forgot to say-this is four hour reception only. Ceremony/cocktail we hired a string trio through them for $850 for 3 hours.

Re: What are you spending on DJ
We are planning on High Voltage sounds... it will end up costing us about $850. We went for the basic package - our hall doesn't allow fog or bubble machines, and the room has a lot of windows and glass ceiling, so we didnt' need the lighting for an afternoon reception - it will be to bright as it is. The cost includes the ceremony and cocktail hour as well.

Re: What are you spending on DJ
We paid $1500 for our DJ at LA Entertainment. The owner of the company, Chris, did a great job at our wedding. Highly recommend him.
