Don't get upset...it probably means that someone bought themselves something when they bought your gift. If I purchased you a vacuum, and got myself a cutting board, the cutting board will sometimes show up on the registry. Also, some people like to throw in smaller non-registry gifts as a little add-on--like a dish towel, or spatula, or other kitchen tool.

And if not, and you get the gift, just return it. People aren't obligated to follow the registry. We should be grateful for any gifts we recieve and not get mad that we didn't register for them.
