Re: does anyone know what are good brands of blank CDs (for favors)?

FH and I are looking into Verbatim. He uses them at work and likes them. But not their vinyl things, b/c they are slower speed, and I think not as good.

I think the ones I use are TDK gold - they work really well.

TDK's are really good. You can get a 100 or 50 pack at Costco for a good price.

DO NOT buy CD's from OfficeMax, Staples, those kinds of places. Unless they are having a big sale, they will really overcharge you.

I am not sure the brand name, but my sister did this as her favor for up coming wedding in Oct. She went to Best Buy and purchased the CD's that are always advertised as 'on sale'... They are only $7 after mail in rebate for 100 CD's and they are of good quality. She didn't have any trouble burning her songs onto them and they sound great. Hope this helps some...

I don't know names off the top of my head but I will say, go with a name you know. I received a CD at a wedding last year and the songs were all distorted because the CD wasn't good quality. It's worth it spend the money and get a well known brand so you don't run into any problems.
