Re: what size do you make menu cards???

I took a 8.5x 11 piece of paper and cut it in half...making 2 cards out of one. They each were 4.25 x 5.5 inches.

Re: what size do you make menu cards???

I've chosen to use a decorative piece of paper for our table menus. I am meeting with the caterer next week to find out if I need to provide the acrylic stands or do they have them. How's this idea sound? I am also including the names of those people seated at that table. My reason for this is because how many of you have sat at a table before, been introduced to your table members, yet forgot their names as soon as they mentioned them? This way, all my guests will have to do is look on the menu for a name to trigger a memory.

We had everyone's names on the table number things we did. It was more so we will know who sat where but that's a great point about helping guests to remember everyone's name. I don't know if helped our guests though:)

our menus were 8.5x5.5 but probably could have made them smaller, the text was pretty spread out to look balanced.

I bought do-it-yourself invitation cards - I think it's about 4 1/2 x 7.
