WE decided on Italy because we wanted to be on a beach but we have dont the cruise thing, carribean thing so we decided for Capri.

We gave the trusty globe a spin, shut our eyes, and will now be off to tropical northern Russia for the honeymoon

the time of year was a big factor. we didn't want to risk being anywhere near the hurricane belt. plus we love the whole cruising concept - so we were kinda limited by where the cruise ships went.

We've done cruises and the Hawaii thing...I wanted something totally different. I asked my travel agent for a winter wonderland with Excellent food! THat's why she said def. Europe! I can't wait!

since DH's in Spain could not come to our wedding...we decided to go there...but I did not want to spend my HM with them the whole time so we went to Barcelona...then the beautiful island of Menorca - where the weather was great and the beach was fantastic (we also thought about the canary islands) and then we spent time in Madrid with family...

We have also done the Hawaii thing and Antigua. But when I graduated college a couple of friends and I traveled through Europe for the summer and ended in Greece. I turned to them and said, 'I will be back here on my honeymoon!'

Hence, we are going island hopping in the Greek Isles......I can not wait!!!

Well last year we went to AC and hung out on the beach all day long so we knew we wanted a beach setting, we also knew that we wanted something a little low key and not aimed at Honeymooners, and lastly we wanted as little to do as possible. I am the type that if there is sightseeing or something to do I will be up at 7 am doing it. We wanted a lcae to kick back and do nothing. We also wanted the opportunity to shop or gamble if we got bored so we chose Anguilla - CuisinArt Spa. It offered everything we were looking for and with a 15 minute ferry ride we can be in St. Marten. A friend of mine from work who has a time share in St. Marten confirned that the spa was beutiful and gave us some suggestions or places to go in St. Marten. We can't wait.

Well our reception hall owns a hotel in Crete, Greece and included a free 10 day stay at their hotel(No airfare, only hotel) in our pacakge. We couldn't pass that offer up. I've been dying to go to Greece for a very long time anyway.
We're going to go to Crete, Santorini and Athens.
