We only looked at other halls. We have gone to so many weddings that that was the lvie test without having to meet with all different vendors. We met and booked. That was all alyear and a half ago and we were happy to know it was all done!
I mean I researched vendors a lot and took a lot of the advice from the girls on here about certain vendors but we pretty much booked everyone on the spot. Like the decision was made before we went for the appt. Not to say that if we weren't wowed when we got there we would still book with them, but every single vendor was booked at the first appt.

We also booked our photog on the spot without meeting with anyone else. She just got our vision and was the coolest person ever. If you have a good feeling, I say go with it!
That is how I booked almost all of my vendors so far! I fell in love with each of them right from the start! I took alot of the advice that the girls on here had to give, and based alot of my appointments on references from here. I am still very happy with all of the decisions that I made. If you like them, go for them!
Our band!! And they're one of the two vendors that I haven't second guessed a million times after booking, so I guess it worked out.
i was like that with my photographer.
i made appointments with 3 djs and 3 photographers. i wound up booking the first dj and photographer i met with on the spot and cancelled my other appointments. i just had a really good feeling about them and didn't want to look around anymore.
I did this with my flowers! Fell in love when I first saw them and the owner is amazing.
I did this for camelot limos, bravura, and bayview florist
RH and videographer. i could have done it with photographer too, but i already had the other appt booked and i felt bad canceling.
nope-i couldn't do that-i'm all about finding the best service for the best price. I'd be afriad that i could get something better elsewhere!

that is how i booked my makeup artist...if you get what you want for the price you want there is nothing left to check...but that seems to be the only thing i booked on the spot everything else i kept looking b/c i didnt get what i wanted or i thought i could get better elsewhere.
